Weirdest wedding venues

Weirdest wedding venues, Every bride and groom wants their wedding to be special and unique and one way to create a unique wedding is to choose an unusual wedding venue. Young couples have gotten married at some unusual places such as atop ferries wheels however here are a few unique places that most of us would never consider.

Heads In The Clouds

A couple in the United Kingdom decided to exchange their vows while standing on the wing of the plane. Actually, the bride as well as the groom each stood on the wing of their own plane and the pastor performing the ceremony occupied still a third plane. The bride Katie Hodges and groom Darrien McWalters loved looking down at the couple's loved ones who listened to the ceremony over loud speakers. One has to wonder how the couple felt upon hearing the words "You may now kiss the bride."

Actually, the couple exchanged rings and one would guess kisses at the reception. However, you have to wonder if they kissed the ground first upon landing.

I Would Travel To The Ends Of The Earth For You

It may not actually be the ends of the earth but it must have felt like it for the guest of the Nepalese couple who exchanged wedding vows at the summit of Mt. Everest. Though there were several short blurbs about this wedding, it is difficult to find a description of what the bride wore. The couple took off oxygen masks long enough to exchange vows and pictures were taken but there was not much time to enjoy the view as the couple was only on the summit for 10 minutes.

Til Death Do Us Part

Jason and Rachel Storm from the United States chose an unusual venue for their wedding and reception. The family funeral parlour. This venue gives a whole new meaning to the couple's promises of "til death do us part." In fact, friends and family members were so shaken by the venue that the couple had to promise that there would be no coffins or corpses present during the ceremony and the reception. It does make one wonder if the couple used Lilies as part of their wedding table decorations and exactly where those flowers came from.

Let's Get Up And Get Away

Trisha Esteppe and Tyre Henderson decided to exchange vows in the place where they met and worked. A McDonald's. The full service wedding was done only steps away from the counter where customers were getting their happy meals. Everything would have been perfect if Ronald McDonald had been the best man. Bet the guests were surprised when they received a small fry for their wedding favour with the question "Would you like me to super size that!"

Several people have also tied the knot in the Absolute Ice bar in London. While many consider this a strange venue, pictures actually show this bar to be a great venue for a romantic wedding. How could anyone resist dressing like Cinderella and getting married in an ice crystal palace.

Keep in mind that there are plenty of truly unique wedding venues without going to extremes. The main thing is saying those vows that makes you man and wife.
