Tibetan mastiff puppy sold 2million. A Tibetan mastiff puppy has been sold in China for almost nearly £1.2million, smashing the previous confirmed record for the world's most expensive dog sale.

A property developer paid 12million yuan  for the golden-haired one-year-old at a luxury pet fair in the eastern province of Zhejiang yesterday, local media reported reported.

'They have lion’s blood and are top-of-the-range mastiff studs,' the dog’s breeder Zhang Gengyun told the Qianjiang Evening News, adding that another red-haired canine had sold for 6million yuan.

Tattoo artist sparks outrage after he inks tat on his seated dog. A Brooklyn tattoo artist bragged about inking his dog with a heart and his wife’s name while the poor pup was drugged after surgery - angering animal lovers.

Tattoo master “Mistah Metro” declared, “My dog is cooler than yours!” in an Instagram post that revealed a photo of what appeared to be his zonked-out pooch sporting the romantic tattoo, reports The New York Post.

“She had her spleen removed yesterday, and the vet let me tattoo her while she was under,” he said.

The tattoo shows the image of a red heart impaled with an arrow, Cupid-style, with the first name of the inker, Alex, and his wife, Mel, said a friend of the artist.

The shark, which grows to a maximum length of just 80 centimetres (30 inches) and is harmless to humans, was discovered off Halmahera, one of the Maluku Islands that lie west of New Guinea.

Cat dung carries the parasite Toxoplasma gondii, a single-celled organism that creates infectious agents called oocysts. These oocysts can infect pregnant women, causing congenital problems in the baby such as deafness, seizures, eye damage and mental retardation. The parasite also infects people with compromised immune systems, such as those with HIV/AIDS.
