Emma, 37, who has taken over as presenter of the Channel 5 show from Brian Dowling, said viewers would be turned off by anything too steamy.
The host, who is married to former Busted star Matt Willis, told Now magazine: "Nobody wants sex in the Big Brother house!"
"We all saw Michelle and 'Chicken' Stu and those little feet popping out under that tablecloth; we all saw Makosi's face and she didn't even know if she'd had sex! I don't need to see anything more than that."
Michelle Bass made a den from a table, chairs and tablecloth so that she could have some privacy with housemate Stuart Wilson away from the cameras in series five.
In series six, Makosi claimed to have had sex in the pool with fellow contestant Anthony Hutton. She asked Big Brother for a pregnancy test, saying that she would name the child Jacuzzi if she was pregnant.
