And Denis Burov, from Moscow, was so excited that he would get to see his favourite band for the first time, he is making the 2,034-mile journey to Northallerton for this weekend's event.
The band - whose last top 20 hit was in 1998 - had something of a cult following in Russia.
Mr Burov, who works for a digital media company in Moscow, said: "Space was one of my favourite bands in the late '90s. When I heard they had reformed I checked the official Space website and found they were playing at the Willowman Festival.
"I bought my festival tickets and flight tickets and here I am. I am staying in London to catch up with old friends and then I get the train to Yorkshire."
The Willowman event - now in its fourth year - has drawn people from around the UK but has now noticed its pull is reaching further.
Festival director Steve Williams said: "After a recent check of our online ticket sales we noticed that we had sold weekend passes to people in Thailand and Singapore, as well as Denis coming from Russia."
Other acts playing over the four days include The Wonder Stuff, New Model Army and The Orb Soundsystem.
