Vicki Gunvalson Chin Implant Nose Job

Vicki Gunvalson has spoken out about how cruel taunts led her to get a plastic surgery makeover which included nose job and a chin implant.

She debuted her new 'settled in' face on Watch What Happens Live on Monday night.

The reality star's surgery was featured on the season premiere of Real Housewives of Orange County earlier in the evening, it was filmed just a few weeks after she went under the knife and swelling had hidden the final results.

On the live show last night, she hid behind a cardboard curtain while being introduced by Andy Cohen and then unveiled her final new look.

While the surgery was extensive, the star said she hoped the results were not too extreme.

'Hopefully it doesn't look any different, I didn't even tell my mother until she found out tonight,' she said.

The mother of two said she left it up to doctors to decide what exactly she got done.

'I had fat from my sides put into my face,' the Bravo personality revealed.

'And then they put in an implant (in my chin) because I guess when you do the nose they needed to do the chin.

'I just kind of closed my eyes and said "Just do what you think is going to look good" and they did it.'

For seven seasons of the original Housewives franchise, Vicki's facial features - particularly and earlier nose job - had drawn snide comments from fans and other stars of the show.

Last season Gretchen Rossi's fiance Slade Smiley branded her 'Miss Piggy'.

Vicki insisted Slade's comment were not the only reason she went under the knife. (She said 'Gretchen would kill me' if she blamed Slade).

'I didn't do it because of Slade,' Vicki told Andy.

'At the end of the day it hurt my feelings but there were a lot of people who said my nose was turned up and I look like Miss Piggy and it made me self conscious so I saw a doctor.'

Viki was also shown a video of her co-stars Gretchen and Tamra Barney mocking her surgery.

Clearly upset by their reaction Vicki said she expected nasty comments.

'It is hurtful but I know I shouldn't have been on camera straight away I was only out of surgery one or two weeks but what was I going to do? Hide?'

The Real Housewives of Orange County airs Monday nights on Bravo.
