At the Bravo Upfront event in New York City on April 3, Wetpaint Entertainment got an up-close look at Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson. She looked fabulous, and she told us all about her recent plastic surgery — which has attracted quite a bit of attention. The new grandma — excuse us, glamma — also gave us some surprising news about her friendship with co-star Tamra Barney.

What do you think about all the attention your plastic surgery has gotten?
I think I was up for it. I did it off-season, but I’m on a reality show, so I knew it was going to come out. And why hide it? Cause everyone will find out anyway and if I don’t say something, they’ll find a way to call me out on it.
I just wanted to come out with it and say, ‘Hey, this is what I did and if you can’t handle it, don’t look at me.’
