Will.I.Am Car Impounded - The Black Eyed Peas member, will.i.am, had his custom car impounded on Thursday night after he was pulled over and failed to provide proper paperwork. According to E! News, not only was the car not registered, it was also short a VIN number and license plates. The original reason that he was pulled over was due to the absence of license plates.
Will.i.am told the police officers that he was aware that the car lacked many of its necessities, but that he really wanted to drive it. Who could blame him? According to TMZ, the car was a customized DeLorean that starkly resembled the time traveling car from Back to the Future.
Will.i.am was cited for the non-existent plates and registration, and was told that the car would be impounded until he was able to supply all of the proper paperwork.
TMZ says that will.i.am was very compliant throughout the whole ordeal and had a friend come to pick him up.
