Former Hannah Montana actor Moises Arias posted the black-and-white image on his Instagram.com page earlier this week.

It featured a fully-clothed Smith, who turned 13 in October, lounging on a bed, while Arias sits under the covers without a top on.

The picture quickly attracted criticisms from dozens of fans on Twitter.com, who questioned why the young teen was in the situation.

The backlash prompted Arias to delete the image from his social networking accounts.

Arias is known to be close friends with Smith's older brother, Jaden.
