$590 million jackpot claimed by a woman from Fla.

$590 million jackpot

The $590 million Powerball jackpot winner has claimed her prize.

Gloria C. Mackenzie, 84, of Zephyrhills came forward according to Florida Lottery officials. She will take a single lump-sum payment of $370.9 million.

The winning numbers were: 10, 13, 14, 22, 52, with a Powerball number of 11. The very long odds of 1 in 175 million did not deter people from playing.

The winning ticket was sold on May 18 at a Publix supermarket in Zephyrhills, a town of just over 13,300 people about 30 miles northeast of Tampa.

Officials say it's the largest sole winner in U.S. history.
