Cameron van der Burgh Cheating VIDEO, Used Extra Illegal Dolphin Kicks - South African swimmer Cameron van der Burgh, 24, who won the gold medal in the men's 100-meter breaststroke at the London Olympics, has admitted to cheating during his winning swim.

In an interview with the Sydney Morning Herald, Van der Burgh admitted to using extra three dolphin kicks during his record-setting 58.46 second race in London to capture the gold medal, which were caught on underwater camera.

According to the rules, one dolphin kick is allowed during the start and the turn of each race.

"Everybody does it - well, if not everybody, 99 percent of them," van der Burgh told the newspaper. "If you're not doing it you are falling behind and giving yourself a disadvantage."

Australian Christian Sprenger took silver in 100-meter breaststroke.
