Kouandjio creates high drama in Hyattsville

Cyrus Kouandjio, the nation's top offensive tackle prospect, has not faxed scholarship papers to Auburn University and told his high school coach at around 2 p.m. CT that he is "unsure" which school he is going to sign with.

Kouandjio, ranked by Rivals.com as the No. 4 overall prospect and the top player at his position, announced to a national television audience on ESPNU earlier in the day that he had chosen Auburn over Alabama, Iowa State and New Mexico, but he never completed the process by signing scholarship papers and transmitting them to Auburn.

Kouandjio's coach at DeMatha High School, Bill McGregor, said he was told by the player this afternoon that Kouandjio is not sure where he will sign and that he will talk to his parents before making a final decision, possibly later today or tonight. Kouandjio's older brother, Arie, is a freshman offensive lineman at Alabama who sat out the 2010 season as a redshirt.
