O'Donoghue Voice Mitchell album flop

O'Donoghue Voice Mitchell album flop, The Voice UK coach Danny O’Donoghue has said that Leanne Mitchell was to blame for her poor album sales. The Script frontman claimed that the series one winner did not work hard enough on her self-titled debut. Speaking to The Sun, he said of her album only selling 500 copies: “That’s not my fault, that’s not the show’s fault, that’s not the BBC’s fault, that’s just her fault. “You can take an artist like that and question their work ethic. “I was told by Tom Jones, and by the label as well, that Leanne just did not want to work as hard as you have to work to be a popstar.” He added: “She wanted to come on a show and win a singing contest.

That’s good for her, because she won the show. “But it’s not good for the premise of the show.” Voice coach will.i.am recently criticised Mitchell’s record label Universal for its handling of her career, saying: “Directly after they win – I don’t know what happened. I don’t know if the label engaged and surrounded it. “I don’t think the rushing happened and if it did, it was too slow. Especially in this day and age when everything changes every 20 seconds on Twitter. You go from something being hot to ‘Oh, it’s not hot anymore’.”
