Disneys Frozen ruined my life news.com.au

Disneys Frozen ruined my life news.com.au. BECAUSE I’m a film critic, last fall Disney sent over an early DVD of Frozen — free.

Thanks, Disney! So far that freebie has cost me maybe $900.

I have two little girls, ages 6 and 2, and each of them has seen Frozen at least four times as many times as I ever saw Star Wars. Our apartment is bursting with Frozen storybooks, Frozen colouring books, Frozen dolls, Frozen stickers, Frozen games, Frozen puzzles, Frozen costumes and Frozen nightgowns.

Woman sues Disney claiming animated flick Frozen is based on her autobiography

Woman sues Disney claiming animated flick Frozen is based on her autobiography. A WOMAN is suing Disney for $250 million after claiming the animated kids flick Frozen is based on her life.

TMZ reports Isabella Tanikumi claims the movie is her true-life story and has similarities to her 2010 autobiography about growing up in the Andean mountains of Peru.

Frozen, which is the highest grossing animated flick of all time, has been a massive success for Disney, grossing a record $1.2 billion globally, with a sequel already in the works.

The story is said to be based on Hans Christian Andersen’s fairytale, The Snow Queen.

But despite the flick featuring talking snowmen, trolls and a princess who turns anything she touches into ice, Tanikumi says the film company plagiarised her book Yearnings of the Heart and turned it into the kids flick.

Are we about to start Hatha-Hating Jennifer Lawrence

Are we about to start Hatha-Hating Jennifer Lawrence. When rising female celebrities walk the red carpet, we instantly make decisions about them that most conveniently fall into the love-hate binary. It all seems so arbitrary, the way we pick sweethearts only to later hurl them from the graces of our general good will. But there are a number of social and economical factors involved in the way we polarize ourselves for or against the latest megastar.

As Lupita Nyong'o is catapulted into "it" girl status and we prepare ourselves for J. Law backlash, HuffPost Celebrity spoke with the author of "The Cult Of Celebrity," Cooper Lawrence, about the underlying complexity of our relationships with famous ladies.
