Hugh Jackman has another skin cancer removed urges fans to wear sunscreen. Hugh Jackman has had another skin cancer removed from his face, posting a post-op photo in an effort to urge fans to wear sunscreen.

The 45-year-old actor on shared the photo of his bandaged face on Instagram on Thursday, revealing that he had been treated for basel-cell carcinoma.

“Another Basel Cell Carsinoma [sic]. All out now. Thanks Dr. Albom and Dr. Arian. PLEASE! PLEASE! WEAR SUNSCREEN!” The Wolverine star captioned the photo.

The actor was first treated for the common form of skin cancer in November, after his wife Deborra-Lee Furness encouraged him to get a “mark” checked.

“Please don’t be foolish like me. Get yourself checked. And USE sunscreen!!!” he wrote at the time.

Separately, the X-Men actor revealed he was planning to return to the stage for a run of shows in New York.

“I’m going back to Broadway. I’m doing a play called The River, a Jez Butterworth play. So I’m really looking forward to treading the boards here on Broadway,” he told the Associated Press on Thursday.

The play, first seen in London in 2012, is about a trout fisherman in a remote cabin who is visited by two of the women in his life.

He is also set to host the Tony Awards on June 8.
