Cornell Robinson robbed pregnant woman in labour. Two men were arrested Sunday in connection to the armed robbery of a pregnant woman in labor, reports CBS Baltimore.

Devery Kelley, 24, of Annapolis and Cornell Robinson, 44, of Washington, D.C. are in jail at the Annapolis Police Department. Charges against the suspects had not been filed.

Authorities were called on Sunday around 4:30 a.m. by an eyewitness who reported seeing a man and a pregnant woman being held at gunpoint on Copeland Street in Annapolis.

The woman was going into labor before the robbery, according to CBS Baltimore. She was taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center after the incident.

The station reports that one of the victims helped officers by pointing to the suspects as they fled the scene in a stolen vehicle. Police followed the vehicle and arrested both suspects when they tried to get away on foot.

A gun that had been thrown from the car was reportedly recovered by officers.
