Sheryl Crow chose closed adoption

Sheryl Crow chose closed adoption. Sheryl Crow, age 51, shared interviews that she requested closed adoptions, where no information about the adoptive family or the children would be shared with birth parents, because she felt that it would have been too tough on birth mothers to see their children grow up in magazines.

So, going through a domestic, closed adoption, Crow left which child she was placed with up to "fate" as she did not specify race or sex. She said that she didn't think it would be possible to be matched to the "wrong child" that she would "take whichever baby she was supposed to have." While Crow is capable of carrying a child, she shared that there were already several children in the world that needed a mom.
