The performer, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, was told to stay away from the mother of his child, Daphne Navarez.
The 38-year-old musician and actor is accused of kicking her and vandalising her home.
He is not allowed to contact her by phone or email and any weapons he owns must be sold or handed in to police.
50 Cent did not speak in court in Los Angeles and his lawyer entered his plea.
He has been told he will need to return to court on 4 September for a pretrial hearing.
Last month Jackson was charged with one count of misdemeanour domestic violence and four counts of vandalism.
His ex-girlfriend said he trashed her California home and kicked her during an argument on 23 June.
She said she locked herself in a bedroom but Jackson kicked open the bedroom door and kicked her, causing her an injury.
Police said property worth $7,100 (£4,600) was destroyed, with broken items including chandeliers, furniture and a television. Jackson was gone when they arrived.
The rapper could face up to five years in prison and $46,000 (£30,000) in fines if he is found guilty of all charges.
Outside the court, Scott Leemon, 50 Cent's lawyer, said the rapper denies all of the accusations.
The rapper found fame in 2003 with his debut album Get Rich or Die Tryin, which became one of the best-selling rap albums of all time.
He has also starred in a film of the same name, as well taking a role in the war drama Home of the Brave.
His work often references drug dealing and violence and Jackson is known to have survived nine gunshots in an attempted murder.
