The feud between "American Idol" judges Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey has been going on (and on and on and on!) all season, dating back to the show's audition days when the two were caught on video in an expletive-filled exchange in which the rapper threatened to "knock out" the five-time Grammy winner. Their catfight recently reached epic proportions when the rapper launched a series of nasty tweets about her rival, calling her "bitter" and "insecure."

Nicki Minaj was still a new kid on the block when she was berated by legendary rapper Lil' Kim in 2011. After some song lyric slams, the veteran rapper directed a profanity-laced spiel at Minaj, warning her to respect her elders, like herself and Mary J. Blige. In 2012, things still hadn't completely cooled. During an appearance on the Bravo show "Watch What Happens Live," Lil' Kim slammed Minaj's new single "Stupid Hoe," saying, "If you have to make a song called 'Stupid Hoe,' you must be a stupid hoe."
Way before their TV judging days, back in 2006 pop music's reigning royalty engaged in a war of words. In an interview with GQ Magazine, Christina Aguilera dished that rival pop star Mariah Carey was "never cool" to her.
"One time, we were at a party and I think she got really drunk, and she had just really derogatory things to say to me, but it was at that time that she had that breakdown, so she might have been very medicated," Aguilera said.
But Carey told 'Access Hollywood': "I had hoped that Christina was in a better place now than the last time I saw her, when she showed up uninvited at one of my parties and displayed questionable behavior. It is sad yet predictable that she would use my name at this time to reinvent past incidents for her promotional gain."
After longtime "Idol" judge Randy Jackson dared to diss newcomer singing show "The Voice," he got into hot water with the show's popular mentor, Adam Levine. In addition to critiquing the show's set décor ("We will never, ever rip off 'Star Trek' like 'The Voice' did with spinning chairs," the "Idol" judge said of "The Voice's" spacey set), he issued a slam at the show's first-season winner, Javier Colon, saying, "The winner of 'The Voice,' I will remind you, was an artist who had a deal at Capitol Records for several years, a failed contract. That show was almost 'second chance people.'"
According to Us Weekly, when Jackson later tried to say he meant "no disrespect" to his reality TV rivals, Levine wasn't feeling forgiving. The Maroon 5 frontman told radio shock jock Howard Stern that Jackson needed to remember where he came from.
"Randy Jackson of all people should get it, considering 'American Idol' was his second chance," Levine said of the former Journey member. Levine later called Jackson's comments "irresponsible."
