1939 Jay-Z look-alike

Could Jay-Z be a time-traveler? Not likely, but the rapper does seem to have a doppelganger in the form of a man who was photographed in 1939 while sitting outside of a stoop in Harlem.

Curators at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture at the New York Public Library noticed that a 1939 photo of a man in Harlem bore an uncanny resemblance to the 43-year-old rapper and mogul.

On their blog and Facebook page they asked if anyone else noticed the similarity.
