The hip-hop diva revealed her backstage requirements which included dressing room standards such as fresh flowers and scented candles as well as plenty of food.
Among the more common items like dozens of pink or white roses, “baked goods” flavoured candles and specialist drinking water are two “very important” space heaters.
The Superbass singer also ordered plenty of food, with a full list being published in the February issue of Wonderland magazine.
“Egg Whites (scrambled hard), Turkey Bacon (fried hard), white toast (grape and strawberry jelly/jam). Belgian Waffles (syrup, powdered sugar, whipped cream, butter and strawberries on side) Enough to serve four people,” the rider lists for breakfast, before going on to lunch and afternoon snacks. “Three 12-piece buckets of fried chicken, spicy - no thighs, lots of wings. A deli tray with turkey breast meat, grilled chicken breast, whole-wheat bread or rolls, yellow mustard and other condiments (enough for six people). One large fruit platter with a side of mango and one large cheese platter.”
Other demands included three different flavours of throat lozenges and a cool mist humidifier.
In the accompanying interview, Nicki insisted she is rather more low maintenance when she isn’t working.
The 29-year-old revealed what she likes to do when relaxing at home and named the signature dishes she can whip up.
“I watch a lot of Judge Judy. And I watch a lot of Forensic Files,” she said. “And I cook - I cook spaghetti really, really good; I cook macaroni and cheese really, really good; I cook chicken really, really good.”
