Polo Mogul John Goodman, 46, owner of Wellington's International Polo Club could face up to 30 years in prison, if convicted as he has been arrested by law enforcement officials at the Four Seasons Hotel in Miami because he faces a trial for a drunk driving incident that killed a 23-year-old.
The authorities, after arresting him brought him to the Palm Beach County Jail on charges of DUI manslaughter with failure to render aid and vehicular homicide with failure to render aid.
Goodman made his first court appearance Wednesday morning, where a judge set his bond at $100,000.
He posted bond hours later and was released from jail about 2:30 p.m.
Goodman will be restricted from drinking, driving or patronizing bars.
He was required to give up his passport and will have to check in with court administrators twice a week. Goodman will also be subject to random drug and alcohol tests three times a month.
