Keira Knightley Fake Tan Fail, Don't you know self-application is A Dangerous Method? English rose Keira Knightley suffers fake tan fail at premiere.
Her dewy, peaches and cream complexion has made her the envy of women everywhere, not to mention landed her lucrative contracts with cosmetic brands like Chanel.
But it seems the harsh winter weather has gotten the best of Keira Knightley, as like so many of us, the actress has succumbed to the desire for golden summer skin.
Keira, 26, sported some very questionable fake tan at the premiere of A Dangerous Method in London last night.
Patches of fake tan were visible on the star's back - notoriously hard to reach when self-applying a faux summer glow.
The splotchy skin was made all the more obvious by Keira's burgundy gown, whose backless panel only served to attract attention to her slip-up.
Miss Knightley looked otherwise flawless in her floor-length Burberry dress, Louboutin heels and Chanel accessories.
She sported smokey make-up and wore her hair swept-up - but Keira certainly let it down at the after-party as she grooved on the dance floor with co-star Michael Fassbender.
Even once the cameras had stopped rolling on set, the two co-stars couldn't resist putting on a show for onlookers at the party held by GQ at 34 Restaurant in Mayfair, London.
Inglourious Basterds star Fassbender, 34, draped Keira over his arm and bent her backwards as they dominated the space between the tables and turned the dining area into their dancefloor.
But it was boyfriend James Righton of The Klaxons who got to take Keira home at the end of the night.
Despite devoting her attention to Michael, it was clear Keira only had eyes for James as they kissed and giggled together in the back of the waiting car after leaving the party.
Having only dated for a year, the couple are still in the honeymoon phase of their romance.
Keira formerly dated her Pride & Prejudice co-star Rupert Friend from 2005 until December 2010.
The British actress stars as Sabina Spielrein in David Cronenberg's new film, a psychiatric patient who embarks on a love affair with her doctor, Carl Jung.
At the premiere Keira revealed that the risqué scenes almost had her turning down the project.
'I did think about turning it down because of the two scenes of a sadomasochistic nature and I thought it's all going to come out and all of a sudden it's all going to all be about that,' she said.
'And weirdly, apart from this country, it hasn't been, so that's been really great. In England it's got mentioned all the time. I don't know what that says about us. We obviously like spanking, I don't know.'
