Jason Elia said he paid $8,000 to get tickets to take his girlfriend to the game, the Houston Chronicle reported.
But then Elia said he found out he has cancer, and his girlfriend said it was too much for her to deal with.
After she ended the relationship, she also wanted the tickets, he said.
