Cyndi Lauper serenades airport audience
Cyndi Lauper put on an impromptu performance for travelers at an airport in Argentina. The 80's pop star grabbed a microphone at Jorge Newbery Airport in Buenos Aires on Friday and belted out her hit "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" for grounded passengers, reports ContactMusic.
A video taken by a spectator shows Lauper, 57, in sunglasses and a black hoodie singing on the PA system to the popular song, while smiling fans sing along and snapping photos. After her performance, Lauper took to Twitter to say, "Ok, so chow Argentina. At airport.. So many delays. Wound up being announced, wound up sing two songs for airport. A first for me. Crazy day"
The former "Celebrity Apprentice" contestant was in South America as part of her current "Memphis Blues" world tour.
