James Greco, 18, and Marcos Pasaye, 17, were arrested on two counts of sexual assault, kidnap with a weapon, attempted murder and robbery with a weapon. Two other juveniles, whose names were not released, were also arrested in connection with the crime.
The 17-year-old, whose name also was not released, was returning home to his apartment complex about 1:30 a.m. Monday. As the teen got out of his car, Pasaye approached him with a handgun, police said.
Pasaye took the teen's car keys and instructed the victim to sit in the front passenger seat. Pasaye got into the driver's seat, and Greco and two other suspects then got into the vehicle as well.
Pasaye drove to a grocery store, where three of the suspects shoplifted alcohol. The suspects stopped for gas and then drove to a Las Vegas Strip casino, where they forced the victim to accompany them inside, police said.
After leaving the casino, the car broke down and the suspects pushed it into a motel parking lot. The victim was then ordered at gunpoint to remove his clothes. Pasaye forced the teen to perform a sex act and then sexually assaulted him, police said.
After the assault, Pasaye shot the victim in the mouth and both eyes with a pellet gun. The victim was then choked unconscious and left in the vehicle.
He was taken to the hospital after the assault.
Police aren't sure of a motive, but said one of the suspects may have painted the name of a gang on the side of the victim's vehicle.
The suspects and victim did not know each other, police said.
