Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie promised Thursday that there would be no repeat of Janet Jackson's infamous "wardrobe malfunction" when the band plays at Super Bowl XLV in Arlington, Tex.
Fergie will be the first woman featured during the halftime show since Jackson's flesh was exposed during a controversial incident that made global headlines in 2004, USA Today reported.
"It is a challenge because you want to give a little sex appeal," Fergie said.
"But, you know, you don't want to get into any trouble. So we're very particular on the wardrobe. There will be no more malfunctions, and I think Janet's amazing. She's a great performer."
