Ashlee Simpson-Wentz Pete Wentz to divorce

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz has filed for divorce from Pete Wentz, the father of their 2-year-old son Bronx, after more than two years of marriage. Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, the 26-year-old sister of fellow pop singer Jessica Simpson, cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split, court documents show. She is seeking joint legal and primary physical custody of Bronx, as well as spousal and child support.

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and Wentz, the 31-year-old bassist of the rock band Fall Out Boy, have not commented since she filed the papers at a Los Angeles court recently. It is unclear if she will revert to her maiden name.
