They then entertained the soldiers with a performance of Will’s song Gettin’ Jiggy Wit It.
Will told Good Morning America correspondent Cameron Mathison that being able to perform for the troops meant a lot to him and Jaden.
“It’s huge, it’s fantastic to be able to have that opportunity to be able to give back in this way, specifically for Jaden,” he said.
“We were talking about – in the car – the concept of freedom, and what it takes, and the sacrifice that people have to make in order for Americans to enjoy the freedoms that we enjoy, and for Jaden to see it, it’s fantastic. Because you can take it for granted sometimes… but not today.”
