Lindsay Lohan spent her 27th birthday in pretty tamed fashion after it was reported that her request to have a low-key party with family and friends was denied by Cliffside rehab centre where she is currently a patient.
The Liz & Dick actress is nearly two months into a court-ordered rehab programme, recently transferring to the Malibu-based clinic after a short stint at The Betty Ford Clinic, and has just over four weeks left until her release.
However, according to TMZ, unfortunately for the Hollywood star, her birthday fell on a week day meaning that she spent the day without her loved ones as visitation to the centre is allowed on Sunday only.
LiLo wasn't alone completely, though, as she was visited by her lawyer Shawn Holley, who has access to see the star during the week.
The celebrity site reports that Lindsay had hoped to be let out of Cliffside to have dinner with her family, but after that request was denied she is claimed to have asked for permission to throw a bash in New York.
The news comes after it was reported Lindsay is considering a move to a more remote part of the US, fearing that if she returns to New York or Los Angeles after her rehab stint is over she will fall back into old habits.
