A small plane crashed into a mobile home near Laurel, Md., on Thursday morning.
CBSDC reports that information is still emerging about the crash, which happened a little more than 20 miles outside Washington, D.C.:
The plane crashed into the home off Brock Bridge Road in Maryland City, just east of Laurel, at about 10:30 a.m. The address of the home that was hit is 113 South Bruce St., Channel 9 reports.
Suburban Airport, the nearest airport to the crash scene, is about one mile south of where the plane crashed. Officials haven’t said if the plane was headed to or leaving from Suburban Airport.
WUSA9 tweets that there is at least one serious injury from the crash:
