Winnipeg's Maria Aragon records first original single, Lady Gaga cover singer. Maria Lourdes Aragon is a Canadian singer from Manitoba of Filipino descent. Aragon at the age of 10 gained fame after a YouTube video of her performing Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" went viral.

The youtube sensation rose to stardom when her cover was noticed by the superstar. The video made it to number eight on youtube around the world and was the third most watched video in 2011 on youtube in Canada.

The young Winnipegger has written and recorded her first original song in 2012, called You Are Enough. The song is available as a free download on welovefreemusic.com.

In an interview with SCENE, Aragon called the experience of recording the song "amazing."

The song recorded in San Francisco with legendary producer Narada Michael Walden at his Tarpan Studios.

Aragon says Walden encouraged her to give it her all. "There was good energy in the room and it rubbed off," she explains.
