Vogue magazine deemed her the 'American Dream Girl' when they put her on the cover of their June issue.

And Kate Upton proved the fashion magazine's point when she attended a New York Yankees game on Friday night.

The buxom blonde certainly exemplified the sexy girl-next-door role as she slipped on a Yankees ball cap and took in the game.

Surrounded by her friends in the Legends section, the 20-year-old flashed her signature wholesome smile beneath her hat.

At one point, the model could sit no longer.

Putting her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover girl skills to good use, Kate posed for cameras.

Tipping her hat to the side, she shoved her other hand in her pocket and dropped her hip for a playful posture.

The Sam Edelman shoe model showed off her curvacious figure in cut-off white hot pants.

A white silk button-down blouse offered a bit more coverage up top as she swayed to and fro.

With an ear-to-ear smile plastered on her Marilyn Monroe-esque face, Kate's recent woes seemed to be at bay.

The model was 'not thrilled' to discover that Victoria's Secret published an image of her in their catalogue at the end of May without her permission.

A source told The New York Post: 'The pictures are from 2011. Kate's not currently contracted to work with Victoria's Secret, and they didn't contact her before they used these images.'

The printed picture came after Victoria's Secret model booker Sophia Neophitou made scathing remarks about Katie in a New York times article early last year.

Sophia said she would never book Miss Upton for the Victoria's Secret runway show.

'She is too obvious. She's like a page three girl,' she said. 'She's like a footballer's wife, with the too-blond hair and the kind of face that anyone with enough money can go out and buy.'
