Holm allegedly put meth in cookies

Holm allegedly put meth in cookies
Holm allegedly put meth in cookies,  A Washington dad spiked his children's cookies with crystal meth to sabotage his ex-wife's chances in an upcoming custody battle, police claimed.

Chad Holm, 37, was accused of lacing the sweet treats with the drug and then feeding them to his 5- and 7-year-old sons — ensuring they tested positive in a narcotics test.

The Des Moines, Wash., man also allegedly forged the results of his drug test to hide his own substance abuse.

The Seattle PI reports Holm split up with the woman — with whom he frequently took meth during their relationship — in April 2011.

She gained temporary custody of the kids as she went through a voluntary drug program.

But, in September 2012, she tested positive for meth — despite claiming not to have touched the drug for several months.

Then she remembered how, days before, her boys had brought home cookies that "tasted terrible" and had been dumped in the trash.

Believing Holm or his new lover, Monique Garcia, 43, were trying to wreck her chances in the custody trial, she had the treats tested — which confirmed meth was present.

Holm has denied spiking the cookies, saying he never even had any of the drug in his possession.

He has not been charged as cops say they can't prove who made the cookies or added the narcotic.

But cops also claim he forged his own drug test results before submitting them to the court — an offence for which he was charged with second-degree perjury.
