The star of the new movie "Virginia" tells Anderson that after being a child model, she got her first movie role at age 11 in "Once Upon a Time in America."
Of how she made the transition into acting, she tells Anderson that "it just kind of started happening through friends of my parents, so I didn't really choose it actively, until I was older."
Jennifer lives in New York with what she calls her "massive family" -- consisting of her 14-year-old, 8-year-old and 11-month-old baby.
Anderson asks the Academy Award winner what it's like having such a range of ages in her children. "It's unbelievable, says Jennifer. "They're all such extraordinary kids... they're great together... they never fight."
Will Jennifer have more kids? "I think we should call it quits... it's like moving an army trying to get out of the house."
Also in Anderson's interview with actress Jennifer Connelly, she tells him about her experience reading Paul Bowles' "The Sheltering Sky" for Audible.com.
"At first I started reading and I thought... 'Do I really have this much saliva in my mouth?' because that's all you can hear is your voice and the sound of your mouth. Is it always going to be like this? It is ever going to get better? It was kind of strange getting used to it."
