Users on Twitter.com blasted Lopez for her choice of attire, and officials at British broadcasting industry regulator Ofcom has since received more than 100 complaints about the performance.
Lopez spoke out about the controversy during an interview on Britain's BBC Radio 1 on Thursday (30May13) and admits she is baffled by the drama as she wore the same outfit to perform at the Billboard Music Awards on 19 May (13).
She says, "I think people are so much raunchier than I am - I feel like I'm so tame. No one complained at the Billboard Awards. I think people just like to talk. It was a body suit. A lot of performers wear that these days. I'm not going to walk down the street like that! I wore (the same outfit) at Billboard and Britain's Got Talent said they wanted exactly the same."
