Sandusky Today Show: Former Penn State defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky is set to speak Monday on NBC’s Today Show.  The morning show’s official Twitter account, @todayshow, tweeted the news at 11:51 a.m. Friday.

The tweet reads “Monday on TODAY...Jerry Sandusky speaks out in exclusive interview” and includes a link to a NBC press release. A call to NBC media relations confirmed Sandusky’s appearance on the show.

After being convicted of 45 counts of child sex abuse last summer, Sandusky was sentenced to 30 to 60 years in prison in October.

According to Examiner In the Sandusky on "Today" interview, he will talk about Mike McQueary, the whistle blower who broke open the scandal, as well as his former boss Joe Paterno, who died in disgrace shortly after the allegations broke for covering up the scandal.
