Mel Gibson's Dad and Elder Abuse Allegations - Hutton Gibson, 93, claiming elder abuse at the hands of his younger wife.
Hutton filed divorce papers last week to end his 10-year marriage to Teddy Joye. He claims his wife has been abusing him while he’s seriously ill and taking a slew of medications.
Joye, 78, allegedly believes her husband’s family is prolonging his life unnecessarily and wants to discontinue the meds to accelerate his death.
She has clashed with her famous son-in-law over the position
The couple married in 2002. Hutton Gibson is seeking spousal support and also wants his soon-to-be ex to cough up for attorney's fees.
Hutton had 11 children with his first wife, the late Anne Reilly, and has more than 50 grandchildren. Hutton and Teddy Joye did not have any children together.
