Mariska Hargitay Ali Wentworth Kiss, Last time we looked, Law and Order star Mariska Hargitay and comic author Ali Wentworth were happily married... to men.
But tonight, the two women looked like they were announcing themselves to the world as a passionate couple by locking lips on the red carpet at a high profile event.
Neither looked to be enjoying the kiss any less than the other as Hargitay,48, leaned in and clasped the political queen's waist while the 47-year-old cupped her friend's pretty face.
But they are both still happily married, Hargitay to recurring Law and Order star Peter Hermann and Wentworth to political journalist and former Clinton advisor, George Stephanopoulos.
So it seems that the friends were just really, really pleased to see one another.
The women are long-standing friends, and were last spotted together when Mariska attended Ali's book launch for Ali in Wonderland in February.
Tonight their emotional reunion was at the Revolution Gala at Cipriani on Wall Street.
They were joined by other fabulous femmes like Glenn Close, Hilary Swank, Debra Messing and Sam Ronson, the latter - of course - arrived in jeans and sneakers.
