January Jones Son Name Baby Daddy Placenta, January Jones has a new man in her life. The Mad Men star welcomed a son, her first child.
Amid much speculation, Jones has not revealed the identity of the baby's father, but she's being much more forthcoming about one thing...
she named the little guy Xander Dane Jones and his mom are "doing great," says the actress' rep.
Who is the father of January Jones' baby?
An Internet blind item has sparked rampant speculation that Ashton Kutcher could be the father of January Jones’ newborn son, Xander.
She did not list a father on the birth certificate. California does not require the mother to put a father's name on the birth certificate. To add one at a later date requires legal filings.
On October 17, the website BlindGossip.com ran this blind item:
"This married actor had a one-night stand with one of his exes, who is an actress in an acclaimed television show. She wound up pregnant. The actor's wife found out about the baby, and, to no one's surprise, went completely ballistic. Both the actor and his wife tried every tactic (money, lawyers, threats to ruin her career) to convince the ex to terminate the pregnancy."
January Jones Eats Her Own Placenta
January Jones credits eating her own placenta, along with a healthy diet and vitamins, to helping her get back to work on the hit series, “Mad Men,” in a matter of weeks.
She told People.com, “Your placenta gets dehydrated and made into vitamins. It’s something I was very hesitant about, but we’re the only mammals who don’t ingest our own placentas.”
“It’s not witch-crafty or anything,” said Jones, who plays Betty on the TV show. “I suggest it to all moms.”
In some cultures, it is commonplace to consume the afterbirth. While placenta encapsulation is not FDA-approved in the U.S., the practice has become more popular as midwifery and home births continue to rise in this country.
