Erik Kramer's Son Died of a Heroin Overdose
The son of former NFL quarterback Eric Kramer died of a heroin overdose, according to a Los Angeles coroner's office toxicology report.
Kramer's 18-year old son, Griffen, passed away on Oct. 30th from acute morphine heroin toxicity. Griffen Kramer was trying to fall in his father's big footsteps as a quarterback at Thousand Oaks High School when he overdosed on heroin.The Coroner's office says that Kramer began foaming at the mouth after consuming heroin at a party and was found dead the next morning. One of Kramer's friends told authorities that he took him home and laid him down so that he could sleep it off, according to The Ventura County Star.
Police have arrested David Nernberg, 19, and Corey Baumann, 19, for involuntary manslaughter and possession of a controlled substance in relation to Griffen Kramer's death.
